Sustainable Women Organization-Empowering Adolescent Women and Girls for Equal Access and Opportunities.
Welcome to Sustainable Women Organization (SWO) Cameroon. We are a dedicated organization working to uplift adolescent girls and young women (AGYW) by promoting gender equality, reducing gender-based violence, and advancing HIV response and sexual and reproductive health rights (SRHR). Join us on our mission to create empowered, safe, and inclusive communities.
The Voice of Adolescent Girls project, implemented by the Sustainable Women Organization (SWO), is dedicated to advancing gender equality and amplifying the voices of adolescent girls and young women (AGYW) in Cameroon.
In order to commemorate the 16 days of activism against gender-based violence, SWO organized a hiking boot camp in Wosing community of Bali, Mezam Division, Cameroon, with funds from Men Engage Africa. 50 people from the community,
BRAVE GIRLS: “Bringing Real Awareness to Victims Everywhere” Empowering girl’s survivors through leadership and digital technology, bridging the digital gap and navigating the digital space.
SWO delivers a wide range of community-centered services designed to uplift and support girls
To improve gender responsiveness and enhance knowledge and support survivors of GBV by providing psychosocial support (PSS), carrying out medical referrals, and legal assistance, while strengthening their livelihood to enable them to recover and maintain their dignity.
Our aim is to improve access to quality health and education for all by building leadership skills of adolescent girls and young women preparing them to meaningfully participate in policy and program decision making spaces and become advocates and role models in their communities.
Our aim is to improved livelihoods and economic status of women and girls through entrepreneurial skills development, vocational skills training, income generation activities, savings and loans programs.
we support the pillar of participation and protection of resolution 1325, building capacities and advocating for meaningful integration and involvement in local peace processes.
