Who We Are
Sustainable Women Organization (SWO) is a community-centered, women-led non-profit organization, created in 2018, to champion issues of gender empowerment, leadership and meaningful participation of adolescent girls and young women in humanitarian and development decision making spaces in Cameroon. By addressing deeply rooted gender norms, promoting gender equality, and reducing the incidence of HIV and gender-based violence (GBV), we help girls and young women become leaders and advocates in their communities. Through education, training, and local partnerships, SWO builds a foundation for meaningful change in gender norms and practices across Cameroon. Our head office is located in Bamenda II Sub Division, North West Region of Cameroon.
Our Belief
